Sr. Product Designer

Join our team at Pixelatiq as a skilled and motivated Sr. Product Designer! You’ll be a key player in growing our online presence and engaging customers. Your main tasks include Wireframing and Prototyping, UI/UX Design, Usability Testing, Create high-fidelity visual designs, including icons, graphics, and animations, that enhance the overall user experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough user research to understand the target audience’s needs, pin points, and preferences.
- Brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate creative concepts and ideas for the product.
- Creating the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design for the product. This includes designing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that provide a clear and intuitive user journey.
- Lead the design and maintenance of a design system or style guide.
- Create interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and usability with real users.
- Act as a bridge between different teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
Qualifications
- Should have a strong foundation in design principles and a proven track record of designing successful products. This often includes 3-4 years of experience in the field.
- Well-versed in user-centered design methodologies, understanding how to conduct user research, create personas, and use this information to inform their design decisions.
- Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and others is essential. They should also have a good understanding of front-end development and the technical constraints and possibilities of the platforms they design for.
- Creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing are critical skills and able to quickly iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results.
- As a senior role, need to lead and mentor junior designers or collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and leadership skills are vital to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Adept at managing their projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to create and maintain design documentation, such as design systems and style guides.
- Understanding the business goals and objectives of the organization is crucial.
Note: We wants to hire someone who is fresh graduate or 2-3 Years of experience in the field who can work full-time in a day and communicate with our team in Finland (Helsinki time zone).
